During the fall of 2001 a guy named Brett invited Mike and John to his house to jam out. Mike and John didn't really know each other at the time but once they started jamming out on weekends they soon became good friends. The three of them decided to start a pop-punk band: Mike on lead guitar/BV, Brett on rhythm and vocals, and John on drums. They set out to find a bass player. Brett soon got his good friend Cody, who plays the bass to join. The four of them played for about 9 months under the name "Stanima". They played at talent shows and parties and even had a cd made. After 9 months of playing together and maturing, they figured it was time for a change in the line up. Cody, Mike, and John went on as a three piece band for certain reasons and now Mike sings lead vocals while Cody and John sing backup. Their music has changed from a pop-punk sound into a band with many different punk and rock influences. They hope to spread their fan base in the future and come out with a new cd at the end of the year.
